This 2.5-hour course trains emergency responders on specialized rescue equipment and techniques for lifting and transferring patients. It focuses on challenging scenarios like tight spaces, level changes, and bariatric patients. Equipment options and techniques will be demonstrated, with hands-on practice included.

If you are paying with a Bergen County Tuition Waiver Form, it is due within 5 days of registering. Please note that the Bergen County Tuition Waiver Form can only be used by agencies on the "New Jersey EMT Training Fund Eligible Agencies" List approved by the NJ Dept. of Health.
