This course is designed for the first responders that respond to emergencies involving elevators and escalators. First responders are exposed to risk of injury or death for both the victims and themselves.  This awareness course will provide first responders with classroom and hands-on training on how to safely and effectively evaluate patient removal from both types of incidents.

If you are paying with a Bergen County Tuition Waiver Form, it is due within 5 days of registering. Please note that the Bergen County Tuition Waiver Form can only be used by agencies on the "New Jersey EMT Training Fund Eligible Agencies" List approved by the NJ Dept. of Health. You must be an EMT to use the Bergen County Tuition Waiver Form. If you are paying with a Purchase Order, please contact Margaret Yanez at maryan@bergen.org for an invoice.
