Notes:	Start Date: 04/21/2025 End Date: 06/23/2025 This class takes place on Mondays & Wednesdays. The required book is not included in the tuition. You may purchase the required book at the Bergen County EMS Training Center, East 281 Pascack Road, Paramus, NJ during office hours.

Formerly known as First Responder this course is a program designed to teach the student the skills needed to sustain life and prevent further injury until advanced help arrives. While EMR personnel do not provide primary care to patients being transported by ambulance they may be asked to assist during the transport of critically injured or ill patients. This course is also often required by some industries for their safety and response personnel.

Targeted Audience

Factory safety officers and response teams, police officers, fire rescue personnel, or other persons who routinely respond to emergency situations at work or in the community.
