This class will educate the incident commander and medical personnel on when and how to provide for the medical rehabilitation needs of first responders. The agenda will follow the “NJ Statewide Rehabilitation Guidelines for Emergency Personnel” in conjunction with NFPA 1584. This guideline applies to any and all emergency agencies operating at emergency incidents, planned events or training exercises within the State of New Jersey, where strenuous physical or mental activities or exposure to extreme heat or cold may exist.
If you are paying with a Bergen County Tuition Waiver Form, it is due within 5 days of registering. Please note that the Bergen County Tuition Waiver Form can only be used by NJ EMTs from agencies on the "New Jersey EMT Training Fund Eligible Agencies" List approved by the NJ Dept. of Health.
