Course overview (Course ID - 3ADA26):
This interactive lecture explores ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes. It is estimated that
approximately 700,000 strokes occur per year in the United States. The incidence of
ischemic stroke is about 300 per 100,000 individuals, but the incidence in African-
Americans is substantially higher than in whites. Hemorrhagic strokes account for
approximately 10% of all strokes, with a higher predilection in African-Americans and
those of Asian descent.

The online curriculum consists of different modules consisting of 1 hour of online elective Continuing Education Training. 

1. Students will receive a unique class key code to access and enroll in the program.

2. Class would be for 1 Continuing Education Unit (CEU).

3. Students would need to complete the class and submit the Google Form before 12/31/2025 to receive CEU credit. Please allow ample time for processing.**If you are using these CEUs for June 2025 renewal, the Google Form must be timestamped before midnight on 06/25/2025.**

4. Students would need to complete all the modules and pass all the post-tests with a 72 or higher to receive credit for the class (No partial credit will be issued).

5. Upon completion, students would be emailed a certificate from the Bergen County EMS Training Center.
